Deep Edge Cards 3&4

Good Afternoon!

I have the next pair of deep edge cards for you today, I have a scalloped pattern on the first and a lattice pattern on the second. A similar scalloped pattern can be found here as a background panel and there is a mix and match card version too. I have more deep edge cards designed and some more in mind to design so I hope you will find them useful as there are more to come :)

I cut my card 5.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall from white textured card, the card will be 4 inches tall once it is folded. In my last post I left the cut out edge open and see-through but for a different look today I have added some black card behind my edge pattern. I layered a strip of silver ribbon on top of a strip of wider black ribbon and wrapped them around the top of the patterned area. I printed my sentiment onto some more white card then die cut with a spellbinders die and hooked onto my ribbon, a couple of gems finished the card.

Deep Edge Cards 1&2

Hiyah!

I’ve starting a new batch of cards which I’m calling deep edge cards as the lower half of the card front has a cut out patterned section, I have lots of designs planned so I will be adding to these over time.

Although I have received many requests for them, rectangular cards have been a bit of a sticking point for me as I’ve simply not known how to size them but I hope I have found a suitable solution. The proportions of the deep edge cards are somewhere between EU and USA regular card sizes so your cards will fit into your regular sized envelopes no matter where you are :) If you size your card to 5.5 inches wide your finished card will be approximately 4 inches tall once folded.
