Remember me mentioning that I had a brain wave yesterday? Well my idea was use an easel card as a stand to hold calendar pages or photographs. I made it and was so pleased with the results and afterwards double checked on Splitcoast Stampers to see if anyone had had the same idea and of course they had! lol. My design is slightly different from the ones I looked at and is a very easy diversion from Beate's original tutorial.

You can find Beate's excellent tutorial here, I followed all of the dimensions but instead of decorating the card front I added a 1.5 inch panel along the bottom of the front which has double-sided sticky foam pads along the bottom and down both sides to form a pocket. The pocket will hold a 3.25 inch square perfectly which happens to be the same size as the largest die in the Spellbinders nestabilities classic squares small, cool huh? :)

Easel Calendar

I made a document of this years months and I've included it as a pdf

clicky here for the 2010 Months pdf ( this is my first ever pdf so I hope it works ok )

This picture shows how the same project can be used as a photo stand, how good is that?

Hi Bird,

Many thanks for you PDF which work better for me!
I notices you liked a swedish stamp. If you like Magnolia stamps you will probably also like the stamps from hAnglar. If you give a contactadress I will send you a very cute one!
