and there’s more… – First Posted: Monday, December 06, 2010

Hi there,

Would you like a few more ornaments before I move onto something else? Ah go on then, you’ve twisted arm. I’ve used the same shapes but have added some patterns that come with the software I use. I hope you like them.

I changed the colour of the digis to blue using the method shown in this post, then printed, trimmed and sponged with some faded jeans and broken china distress ink. I added some silver embossing powder to the tops and covered with Glossy Accents and allowed to dry, once dry I added some silver thread then popped them onto my card with differing depths of 3D foam pads. I added some shiny edged ribbon to the largest ornament and some mini gems to match the pattern to make this ornament the focal point.

Ok, no more ornaments this year, promise!

This card is utterly gorgeous!! You say in your post “I changed the colour of the digis to blue using the method shown in this post,” but I don’t see that. Where do I find those instructions because I would love to know how you got them so realiztic looking. Thanks so much for all you do. You are amazingly talented and unbelievably sweet and generous to share your creations for free.
