Background 16 – Trellis Card

Good Evening!

I have another background pattern for you today, I designed it several months ago and forgot to post it, better late than never, right? ;) You may recognise the design from this pennant. You know, I think this is my favourite of all of the background designs I’ve done so far, I hope you like it too :)

I attempted a trellis effect for today’s card using the flower from this post and the branches from here, I gave them some shape then tucked them into the trellis(background panel) and added some spots of glue to hold them in place. The frame around my sentiment is from Label set 4, I popped in a couple of eyelets above and below my sentiment piece and threaded my ribbon through.

I took the plunge recently and got an inexpensive hot foil machine, it certainly breathes new life into digital sentiments!

What a stunning card Bird. I love trellis – and this one is no exception!

I have a Patsy May A3 hot foiling machine which has never been out of the packaging. I bought it to do wedding stationery, but never did because I was too ill at the time. Now I don’t have time to do that so I’m selling it. If anyone is interested – get in touch via my facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/pmgale

    thanks again Bird,
