Card Cover 17
Hi Guys!
I have a new Card Cover for you today, it has my retro rose design and comes in 2 layers so you have lots of room to place 3d foam pads behind. I think this design could work for a whole host of occasions from a Valentine, Wedding, Engagement through to a Birthday etc.
The font I used for my card today is a free one and if you’d like to use it too, you can find it here.
Here’s your Free Cut File – Formats include ai, dxf, gsd, mtc, pdf, studio & svg:

hi this is so pretty thank you so much
Thank you Bird it is beautiful
Very romantic! I want my husband to learn to use my Silhouette so he can make me cards like this! Thanks so much for the file. I guess I’ll have to make him one because I doubt he will ever make me a card. Happy Valentine’s Day! Hugs!!
Gosh this is gorgeous! I must make this for Saturday! Thanks so much. :)
Thank you so much for this lovely card
Lovely! Thank you so much!
This would be ideal for my niece for her formal so that I can give her a few £’s as I always give cards with decoupaged art deco ladies on them. This will be a lovely change. Thanks so much for sharing. x
What a lovely card you are so amazing. I wish I had half your talent. Have you ever thought of adding instruction sheets with you cards. I kind of look at them and think how would i create it. Its like the font topper I would have no idea how to create that. Not adding more pressure in your busy life like. It was just a thought. But once again thank you so much for sharing you work. I would be lost with out it. x
I love this but don’t know how to do the lettering like that (Cameo newbie). Are there any instructions/tutorials for this please?
I lay the words out in a shape I liked then I did a large shadow layer around the whole lot and welded the shadows together. Most of the letters in that font are stencils but the O wasn’t so I needed to add a little joiner piece (rectangle) through the middle. I hope that made sense :)
Hi again
I assume you have to weld the letters first? I am not sure how to do the shadow….. Sorry I am a nuisance. I would just so love to be able to do that with the lettering.
I think I may have worked it out using the offset button. Not as nice as yours though. Practice makes perfect. Thank you x
Awesome card, as usual. Wish I had your talent designing — everything I’ve seen you make and on your site is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
