I have another card duo for you today which like the last couple of cut files come in both, a blank version and the sentiment version I used for my card. I’m calling this one a Floral Inset Card as…well I didn’t really know what else to call it ;) The blank card has a flower and leaf arrangement with a handy spot in the middle for your chosen sentiment. It is a very simple card design but I think it is quite effective and would be great for when you need to whip up a card in literally minutes :)

You may recognise the ‘With Love’ sentiment I used for my card today as it was lifted from one of the mix and match sentiment squares. They are all stencils and will work well here so feel free to pop one of those in the middle of your card :)

I have a new card cover for you today which has the same leafy frame style as my last card. And as with my last card, I have given you both the blank version and the one I used for my card with the ‘Thanks’ sentiment in case you’d like it :)

I cut my card cover from some textured card then popped it onto my smooth card base, the texture difference helps to emphasis the design even though the two pieces I used are the same colour.

I ordered some thick kraft coloured card recently which was more like thin chipboard and I thought that I’d give my KnK Zing a bit of a test to see if I could make a fairly detailed card from it. I designed a card with a leafy frame inset in the front to match the rustic nature of the cardstock and popped a sentiment in the middle. Well, my Zing never fails to amaze me, I did hike up the pressure but it cut like a dream!

I had originally thought that I’d give you the blank card so you can add your own sentiment into the middle of the frame area (using your weld functions) but there are bound to be some of you who would like it with the Hello I used for my card so I’ve added both to the cut file :)

I will probably add a paper insert to my card to hide the writing inside before I send it to the recipient.
