Stand Cut File

Good Evening!

Today I have a display stand for you to hold your cards or craft pieces, of course you could make a large one to display your scrapbook pages. Basically it will hold anything you would like to put on display, or for us bloggers, it is handy for holding our work steady while we photograph it ;)

The cut file comes in 2 pieces, I wanted to add some swirls to make the stand decorative in it’s own right but there is also a slightly larger piece to glue behind it to add to it’s strength and stability.

I cut my stand pieces from some antique gold pearl card. I glued my 2 pieces together and let them fully dry nice and flat before I folded my stand:

I folded the stand so the decorative layer is on the outside, here’s the inside:

Here’s how it looks from the back:

Last Pennants?

Hiyah!

I have another Pennant set for you today, it might be the last for a while as I think I’ve covered a lot of celebrations, if I get any good suggestions I may re-visit them though :)

Today’s Pennants have a scalloped or shell type of pattern, one is plain and one says Happy Anniversary. Simply cut, thread and hang :)

Background 15

Hi Guys!

I have a new background pattern for you today, as always you have the background panel and a matching background card to add to your collections. I’m excited to turn this one into an embossing folder/plate using this method to see what effect it will give :)

I tried something different with my background panel today, I cut my panel from some cream card then cut it again from 3 different patterned papers to fill in the negative space to create a patchwork style effect. My flower came from the Flowers 1 set and the stem from Stems 1, I gently curved the pieces with a pencil to add some dimension before I glued them into place and finished with a Cream Sparkle.
