Hello, hope you are having a lovely day today.

I have a paper pack for you today, you may have noticed the paper I used behind my flower cut out yesterday well here it is along with 6 other colours. The check/tartan/plaid pattern is quite large and the colours are soft and muted with a touch of grey. I hope you like them and they will be of some use to you in your craft projects.

A new paper pack – First Posted: Thursday, May 06, 2010

I have a new paper pack for you today, in fact it was the backing paper used in yesterdays card. I wanted some paper that had some detail but not so much that would distract from the focal images in my cards and would go with anything else. This is what I came up with, it has an interlocking circle pattern and comes in 10 colours.

Gingham Brights Paper Pack – First Posted: Monday, April 26, 2010

Hello, I’ve a brights pack of Gingham papers today and a cute little post-it note & pen holder I made with one of the 10 colours. One thing I found while playing with this paper pack is that it’s best (with my printer at least) to leave the printer settings on my regular settings for text and copy paper to keep the colours bright as the more saturated the colour gets, the darker the shade.

I found my post-it notes and mini gel pens in my local pound shop, I got 4 thick post-it note pads for my pound and a pack of 15 pens, got to love a bargain! One of the post-it notes pads were green so I chose the lime green paper from the gingham pack to match.

The green card stock measures 7 1/2 x 3 1/4, scored at 3 1/2, 3 7/8 & 4 1/4. Cut between the outer 2 score lines at 3/4, 1 1/8, 2 1/8 & 2 1/2 with a paper trimmer or craft knife. Fold your score lines and make the smaller of the large panels the front face, popping up the sections to hold the pen as shown in the picture you can use some strong tape to hold down the other sections that lie behiond the pen. The frame on the front was made by combining a spellbinders scallop circle die with an inverted scallop circle die.
