Hey Guys!

I had a request on the forum from magpie saying:

Years ago I saved a picture of a card which I would like to make now as a get well card. It has a wishing well and flowers on it and the sentiment is “Wishing You Well” — cute,eh?
If possible, could you make a cutting file of a wishing well, please.

I thought that this might be an image that lots of you could get some use out of too so I was more than happy to give it a go, I hope you like what I’ve come up with :) I have added digi versions of the Wishing Well for colouring or paper piecing and a few pun-ny sentiments along with the cut file, there’s also a new set of border cut files to add to your collection too.

I do find that cut files can sometimes look a little flat so I like to add some detail or dimension to liven them up a bit. Today my detail came from adding a metal handle to my bucket using some thin craft wire, also from wrapping some beige coloured thread around the center bar of the well to give the look of rope, I tied the other end of the thread to the bucket handle. My dimension came from some vellum flowers and leaves I added at the base of the well and some pearls I popped along the doily border also from attaching the well to my card with 3d foam pads.

Here’s a close up of the Wishing Well, I sponged the different sections before assembly to add some depth:

Good Morning!

I made a Pram Cut File back in February, you can find it here. I remembered that I hadn’t made any digis to go with it which was a bit naughty of me as I do like to remember those who don’t have cutting machines or just fancy a spot of paper piecing or colouring. So, I have the Pram image for you then I made 2 circle sentiments which can be cut with a circle die or circle punch etc. I hope you like them :)

Good Morning!

Remember this little cutie cut file I posted last week? Well I have some digital stamp versions for you today in case you don’t have an electronic cutting machine or like me, you just enjoy colouring. There are 5 different digis below which can be used for Baby projects and also for Birthdays, the circle digis can be easily cut out with your metal dies or punches.

I made a Tag to attach to a little Boys Birthday Present today, I printed the image then coloured it with Inktense Pencils in blues and teals. I cut a piece of black cardstock and rounded the top corners then embossed it in an embossing folder. I popped an eyelet into the tag and threaded it with some aqua ribbon. I trimmed around my Teddy and Balloon images ignoring the string and ran a black marker around the edges to prevent any white card from showing then stuck them down to my tag with 3d foam pads. I used a thin black pen to draw in the balloon string then my last step was to print a sentiment onto some teal cardstock and trim down adding some ribbon ends.
