Warm Winter Wishes – Cut File, Digi Stamp & Sentiments

Hi Guys!

I do post a great deal of Cut Files but I also like to include Digi Stamps or Sentiments whenever possible and today is one of those days, I have 1 Cut File, 1 Digi Stamp and 3 Digi Stamp/Sentiments for you :) I have a hot steaming mug for you today perfect for the depths of Winter, it could be filled with Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate or even Mulled Wine! Simply change the colour of your card stock or marker. You can remove the Snowflake from the Cut File and the Mug could be used any time of year, I haven’t added the snowflake to the Digi Stamp as they are tricky to edit and this way you can get the most use from the image. I’ve also made 2 circle sentiments which can be coloured and cut out with punches or dies.

I used the CR84FN challenge for my colour scheme, I cut my Mug and steam from 2 tones of grey then added some glitter to the middle of the back piece before attaching the pieces together so the glitter showed through the Snowflake shape. I cut my liquid part and a piece to represent a table from some tan card and placed on top of a circle panel, excuse my wonky stitching ;) I changed the colour of my sentiment in Word then printed and trimmed before popping over some silver organza ribbon tied in a bow.

Coffin Invite

Hello!

I have a new set of Halloween images for you today, There’s a cut files set including a Skull and Crossbones, a Coffin, a Witch on her Broomstick and The Grim Reaper. Other cut files include a border I’ve made with the Skull, I’ve turned the Witch into a circle sentiment piece and popped The Grim Reaper into a frame, I love how sinister he looks. I’ve also added a couple of digi circles with sentiments for you to print off, one with the Skull and the other with the Witch image. I hope there will be something there that could come in handy for you :)

Today I made a coffin shaped invite, I’m not having a Halloween Party but if I was I would so send out invites like this. I cut the front panel in core’dinations card and embossed a line just inside the outer edge using my score board then sanded to reveal the colour under the black surface. I pierced some holes and popped in some brads to mimic nails then printed ‘You’re Invited’ on some grey card and used in place of a name plate. To make my card base I simply welded 2 of the coffin shapes together and sized it slightly larger than my front panel.

Spooky

Evenin’

I’m posting this as I await the new World of Warcraft expansion which is due at 11pm tonight. It’s a computer game that I’ve played on and off for over 6 years and they only release these expansions every couple of years so it’s exciting. I was just saying to my fella today though that I will have to work on keeping my blog up and resist the temptation to play too much over the next few days. If I fall off the face of the Earth, you know where I am ;).

Ok, I have taken my first step into Halloween, well for today’s installment I actually adapted some of the images I made last year, I’ve used the little spider web to make doily circles and combined some of the other images to make a spooky scene. For those of you without cutting machines I have added the scene as a digi to use with your punches or nesties and there’s also one with a sentiment.

I embossed my paper with a fiskars texture plate and added tiny gems to the ends of the swirls for some sparkle then cut my doily and spooky circle out of black card and layered with more of the purple paper then added a lilac satin bow.
