Deep Edge Card 8

Hi all!

Let’s take a break from the place cards for a sec, I have a new deep edge card for you today, this one has a section to thread ribbon through and a scalloped flower edge. I’ve sized the ribbon slots to fit half inch ribbons as the majority of the ribbon in my stash seem to be that size and I hope it is the same for you. If you pass the ribbon through the inside of the card at the start and thread in from both sides you will have the two ends ready to tie your bow in the middle at the front of the card and the inside of your card will be neat and tidy (I get a bit obsessed about that). The little flowers on the edge have a space in the middle of them so you can pop in some gems or pearls, I coloured my gems with a copic marker to match the colour scheme of my card.

Good day Bird! thanks for another beautiful card file. I really like the ribbon slots and that you made it to thread from both sides and meet in the middle. You think of everything!!!

Oh, this is so pretty!! I love your suggestion about the ribbon threading. Great idea, as that has always bothered me, too. Thank you!

Thank you Bird for sharing those Silhouette files. You have the best ideas, and I just sent a card made with one of your deep edge file to my mom and sister in law in France for their birthdays. They both couldn’t believe I made the card and kept oooohing and aaaahing…
    You are amazing! Thank you!

Thank you for this new deep-edger! I love anything that helps me use ribbon neatly, so thanks for the design and the tip as well.

Seriously, Bird, I can’t keep up with your files. LOL Thank you for the file and the tip about threading the ribbon.

    Thanks Bird

What a pretty card you’ve made from your lovely cut file… I love the threaded ribbon look and agree on the finish inside – anything short of neat and professional looking is a no no for me too…

Back to the card – love the simplicity of it – you don’t over-complicate things, which always leaves them looking so much better than over-thinking them (like me, meaning it takes me hours to do one card lol)…

    Thanks so much again
