Deep Edge Cards 3&4

Good Afternoon!

I have the next pair of deep edge cards for you today, I have a scalloped pattern on the first and a lattice pattern on the second. A similar scalloped pattern can be found here as a background panel and there is a mix and match card version too. I have more deep edge cards designed and some more in mind to design so I hope you will find them useful as there are more to come :)

I cut my card 5.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall from white textured card, the card will be 4 inches tall once it is folded. In my last post I left the cut out edge open and see-through but for a different look today I have added some black card behind my edge pattern. I layered a strip of silver ribbon on top of a strip of wider black ribbon and wrapped them around the top of the patterned area. I printed my sentiment onto some more white card then die cut with a spellbinders die and hooked onto my ribbon, a couple of gems finished the card.

Just wanted to stop by and thank you for all your kindness that you share with us. I am loving the new line of cards you are making right now they will be great for all occasion. Hope I can hit the scrap room later today and play with the lattice cut. I check your blog everyday just to see what you have to share and know I do not comment often enough for all you do. Have a great weekend and once again thank you.

Hi Bird. I especially love the lattice edge card, so nice for Spring! Both of these are great card bases and I like the way you used the silver ribbon with the Spellbinders die. Thanks for your sharing of these beautiful files. YOU have a beautiful heart!

Lovely! I can’t wait to use some of your great card designs for Operation Write Home, a non-profit organization to help American military stay in touch with family and friends while serving away from home. Thanks so much for sharing!

    Hi Bird

A MASSIVE thank you as usual for the fabulous and elegant cards you have done for us. I love to see your samples too – so please keep them coming. If ever you wanted help with showing off samples of what can be done – i’d be willing to give something back. I am going to email you a sample of what I recently did with the roses deep edge card… I mentioned that I was going to do one for my sisters birthday – which is exactly what I did.

Thank you again for all of your wonderful gifts of your talent, time and files.
