Embossed Background 12

Hello There!

I have a new background set for you today, it has a kind of brick paving look but it also reminds me of car tyre treads too. As usual you have the background panel along with the matching background card and another of the sentiment squares to add to the collection.

Today I used the background panel to emboss my white cardstock as I showed in this post then matted it with black card. I decided to go the whole way with the black and white theme so I chose some black and white patterned paper to create a panel behind my sentiment. My sentiment was cut on my Zing and also matted with black card, I then popped it over some black seam binding with 3d foam pads. I finished my card with a white mulberry rose added to the middle of my bow.

I’m sorry, I should know this…..but do you have a tutorial on making your embossing folders?Do you use both the negative and positive or do you just use a silicone mat when you emboss? If you don’t have a tutorial, in your spare time you could whip one up,LOL!,!
As always great work ,beautiful card and just a wonderful person to put up with all of our demands. Thanks so much for all you do and share so freely .

    OH WOW!

Your card is beautiful. I love your black and white cards Bird… thank you so much for this pattern – it’s actually one that I love, so will enjoy no end.

Talking of you wanting to make more backgrounds, is there any possible chance you could do one that is like overlapping cirlces – a bit like overlapping wedding rings – I’m sure i’ve seen it somewhere else – but wondered what the chances were of it being in your collection. Fingers crossed and hoping… (sorry, this is not to give you any additional work – just wondered if you already had the plans that’s all :) )

Thank you for all you do – you are a truly generous lady and well worthy of that Number 1 spot!!!
