for the biker in your life…

Good Afternoon!

I have a Motorcycle shaped card cut file for you today which I made for a family members birthday, I designed this card for my own use and hadn’t planned to share it here, but if you can make use of it, you are very welcome. I feel I should warn you that the file does have several small pieces but if you follow either the black/pink picture or my card you should be ok to figure out which order to layer them in, also I have placed the pieces in color groups which I hope helps too.

I cut the shaped card in black then cut out the bike shaped layer in dark grey then cut the other “metal” parts in 2 different shades of lighter grey. The seat, handlebar grip and tyres get cut out in black and the lights are cut from orange and red card. You can chose which colour you would like your bike to be by cutting the petrol tank, side cover and mudguards (all shown in pink in the image below) in your chosen colour. I made a black bike so it resembles the recipients bike. I shaded all of my pieces with black soot and weather wood distress inks before gluing together then coloured the holes in the pipes with a fine liner black pen.

I’m very impressed. I found this blog by accident and fell in love. I found lots of inspiration here, and cutting patterns. It’s amazing to find someone who shares his work with others. Thank you for that.

Thanks so much for sharing this one! I don’t have a cuttingmachine, but I can cut it out by hand with scissors and a lot of patience… This template will sure come in handy for some male persons in my family who do ride motor or trial bikes. Thanks again!!!

Love this so much!! I’m going to be making the card for Henry Winkler who I met over the weekend. At the time I didn’t know it was his birthday and I didn’t wish him a happy birthday – so I”m doing this to make up for it. : )
