Inside and Out
Hiyah!
I have a window card cut file for you today and as I think it would be fairly easy to cut out the windows with a ruler and a craft knife I have included a template for those of you without a digital cutting machine.
When I sat down to make my card I realised I had to decide whether I was looking in through the window or if I was inside looking out, well it would be a good way of getting 2 more Christmas cards under my belt so I did one of each. I used the Christmas Tree cut file from the last post for both cards, if you don’t have a digital cutting machine the Christmas Tree Digital Stamp would work equally as well.
Inside looking out – I wanted this card to look as though you are looking out onto a winter snow scene. I layered my card by attaching the front layers to the rear of the window panel starting with the the first snow drift then the first tree etc ensuring they are face down. I added my ribbon then covered the entire area with my backing paper in this case the 3rd darkest paper from Bird’s Snowflakes. I added some gems and a little tag to the ribbon bow to finish.
Outside looking in – The same method applies to this card, I attached the layers to the rear of the window panel from the front layer to the back layer face down. I wanted this card to look like you were peering into someones living room so my first layer was the curtains, then the tree, I then added the ribbon and covered over the entire panel with some wallpaper type patterned paper. Again it’s finished off with gems, a tag and some jingle bells.
Here is your cut file – formats included are ai, dxf, GSD, pdf, studio & svg:
