Lace-y Borders 2

I have a Lacey Border Set for you today which co-ordinates with the Lacey Square Frames 2 that I posted recently. There is also Lacey Border 1 that was posted a couple of months ago if you’re looking for a slightly different design.

I cut my border from some lightweight card, I also cut one of my doilies and some flower shapes from some coloured vellum. I shaped my flowers with a large embossing stylus and a stamping mat (a mouse mat will work too) then popped a flat backed pearl inside, I coloured my pearls to match my vellum with Copics. I used Prima ‘Devine’ & ‘Fairy Rhymes’ papers which I matted on white card then stitched with my sewing machine, I finished my card with a Rose Petal Seam Binding bow.

Bird, this is a beautiful card. Many thanks for so generously sharing with us. I have a request – could you please show us how you tie your bows. They are always so perfect and lovely.

I Love your card Bird. Fairy Rhymes is one of my favourite collections too – so nice to see we both have great taste!!!

Love these borders – thank you so much. I also feel that a paper is better than card for these – i’d go around 160gsm for this too.

    Beautiful card. Thanks again.
