New Flower and Border Cut Files
Good Afternoon!
I’m taking a break from my Halloween projects and The Shabby Tea Room had the perfect inspiration photo yesterday of Fall Flowers, we had to use the colours from the photo and incorporate lots of flowers. I considered using one of my existing cut files but thought, na, I’ll make a new one. I’ve gone for a rose feel with my petals giving them wavy edges and giving you a 3 and 4 petaled versions to add some irregularity and dimension. I added some rose shaped leaves for you too and I even made some matching borders which echo the wavy edges of the petals. I hope you like them :)
I chose 2 floral patterned papers from GCDs Lydia Collection, I cut them into 1 3/4 inch squares and stitched them onto some beige card. I cut 2 of the borders and popped some more of the floral paper on top and stitched around. This is my first stitched card with my new machine, ok it’s not perfect but it could be worse, right? I cut several of the 3 and 4 petal flower shapes in different sizes, I rounded them from the reverse side on a soft stamping pad then popped a brad through the middle. I creased the leaves down the middle before tucking behind the flower and gluing into place.
Here are your cut files – formats included are ai, dxf, GSD, pdf & svg:

Great as usual, going to love trying these flowers – I do love your site – can you tell us what paper/card you used??
The flower was made from some 200gsm textured card from Dovecraft, I used one of those cake making tools with the big rounded end on the reverse to give it shape, I was really quite rough with it but it held up fine.
