I have another background pattern for you today, I designed it several months ago and forgot to post it, better late than never, right? ;) You may recognise the design from this pennant. You know, I think this is my favourite of all of the background designs I’ve done so far, I hope you like it too :)

I attempted a trellis effect for today’s card using the flower from this post and the branches from here, I gave them some shape then tucked them into the trellis(background panel) and added some spots of glue to hold them in place. The frame around my sentiment is from Label set 4, I popped in a couple of eyelets above and below my sentiment piece and threaded my ribbon through.

I took the plunge recently and got an inexpensive hot foil machine, it certainly breathes new life into digital sentiments!

I have another card cover cut file for you today along with the digital (printable) sentiment I used on today’s card too :) As this card cover has an all over design it could be used as a stencil if you fancy getting inky ;)

I cut my card cover from some lightweight white card and glued onto some patterned paper then trimmed around it to leave a slight border. I printed my sentiment onto more of the white card and cut it into a banner shape. I tied some aqua bakers twine around the banner and attached a button too before adding the piece to my card front with some 3d foam pads, I adhered the whole card front onto a white card base.
