Stand Cut File

Good Evening!

Today I have a display stand for you to hold your cards or craft pieces, of course you could make a large one to display your scrapbook pages. Basically it will hold anything you would like to put on display, or for us bloggers, it is handy for holding our work steady while we photograph it ;)

The cut file comes in 2 pieces, I wanted to add some swirls to make the stand decorative in it’s own right but there is also a slightly larger piece to glue behind it to add to it’s strength and stability.

I cut my stand pieces from some antique gold pearl card. I glued my 2 pieces together and let them fully dry nice and flat before I folded my stand:

I folded the stand so the decorative layer is on the outside, here’s the inside:

Here’s how it looks from the back:

…and from the side:

TFD Bird! I can see using this one a lot! I think I’ll cut several in different colors to use when photographing my cards!

Thank you for sharing all your freebies.
Silhouette and other sites are just getting bad for for prices they charge for simple files.

I loved the stand file, but the curls came up to far in front and covered parts of the card I wanted to photograph. I just snipped off the front curl and it worked great. I love all your awesome designs and appreciate your willingness to share.

I love this idea especially for cards that have their fold at the top and never seem to stand up very well. Thank you for sharing this.

Hi, I have your wonderful pm_and am using the SVG from it. Unfortunately when I open it up on my screen I cannot get the handles around the pattern so I cannot move it. Am I doing something wrong. I am looking forward to using these for my daughter’s wedding in July.

Thanks and by the way your files are amazing!
