Swirly Frames 7 & 8

Hiyah!

I have the last of my swirly installments for you today, at least for a while anyway. I have 2 more frames which each come with a backing layer, the swirls are around the edge of the frame, you can leave the middle area solid or cut a square out to make them more frame-like for a different look.

I picked 2 turquoise papers for today’s card, I used one for the frame backing layer and the other for my center panel. I cut my frame from some white card and layered my panel with white card too and sewed the edge. I wrapped some Scarab Seam Binding around my panel, I tied a bow and added a button and some thread in similar colours. I printed my sentiment onto some more white card, I die cut it with a nestabilities die then trimmed around the outside of the metal die with a craft knife to produce a narrow border in the same paper that I used behind my frame. I layered all of my elements with 3d foam pads and popped onto a white card base then as a finishing touch I used some turquoise flat backed pearls.

Thanks for all the swirls! I love the card you made, and aren’t you clever to cut around the outer edge of the die with a craft knife for a thin mat of your sentiment piece!
If you don’t mind sharing, could you tell us the name of the font you used for “Best Wishes”? It’s lovely!
