Swirly Snowflake

I have a Swirly Snowflake Cut File for you today to match the Swirly Christmas Tree that I posted recently, this time I’ve even thought to add a matting layer so you don’t have to worry about the old offset thingie ;)

My card is really quite simple but it looks so festive as it has a glitter, silver detailed vellum and a gem brad. I love that we can layer on the glitter and sparkle at Christmas.

I was wondering if you could make a 3D shaped Vintage Christmas Elf. I’ve looked all over for one but can’t find one that is shaped like a cute elf. Thanks for your consideration.

Another beautiful design you are so generous to share. I love sewing on my cards and NEVER thought to sew like you did on this card. Wonderful….can’t wait to try.

What a lovely complement to the Swirly trees! I must tell you: I used your triangular Swirly tree card file to make Christmas cards for the ladies in my dance group. Rather than line the front panel, I just let the elegant sculptural effect take centre stage. They absolutely LOVED THEM! So thank you again!

So beautiful. Thank you for the background as well as the snowflake. I think you just solved my dilema of making some hurry up cards.

This is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much! I used the SVG document, but it wanted to do a double cut…which messed up the edges. I am using a Silhouette Cameo. There used to be a way to adjust cut settings and to choose single cut or double cut, but it seems that with updates, that feature has gone away. Is there a way to prevent it double cutting? After realizing it double cut the bottom piece, I was able to watch it and catch it to stop it from double cutting the topper by pausing it. I’m not completely skilled in this area and was wondering if I am missing something. This is only the 5th or 6th time I’ve used my machine! LOL

I’m really not sure how to advise you as I haven’t used a Silhouette for a few years now, I don’t know why the design would do a double cut though.

There is an awesome Silhouette forum that is definitely worth checking out if you are new to your Silhouette, you can find it here: http://s15.zetaboards.com/Silhouette_Plus/index/
