Tulip Frames

Good Evening!

Ok, so I said I had finished with the Rose cards but I have made some Tulip versions, I just couldn’t help myself. I have the Tulip frames and the Tulip frame card up for grabs today and I’ve also added the digi sentiment I used on my card.

I used the cheats stained glass method for my Tulips, I coloured the vellum with Copics a few times over to encourage some streaking which made the Tulips look more realistic. I printed my sentiment in green using this method then cut with a circle die next I cut a slightly larger circle of green card similar to the colour of the leaves to sit just inside the middle of the card and layered behind my sentiment with 3d foam pads, I attached the circles to the inside of the card so they peek through when the card is closed.

Thank you for your generosity. Your things are soooo pretty! My Mother has her 96th birthday on April 29th. She loves flowers so i think she will get a tulip card.

Absolutely stunning!!!! Thanks for inspiring me! I’ll probably adjust it to just a print to color (my cutter is getting old… need a new one).
