with love & best wishes
Hi Guys!
I’ve not been around much in the last week or so and I know that I mentioned in my last post that I had been busy with house-y stuff well, the news is… we found a house that we loved the look of and although it was a bit earlier than we had planned to do it, we snapped it up! It’s not built yet so we have a few months to get fully prepared to move but we are so excited, it will be a move from a flat in a city to a house in a rural location which is where a Bird belongs, right? :) Apart from the many benefits to our life in general there will also be a big difference to my crafting, I’ll have a whole room dedicated to it rather than my table and I’ll be able to start making videos again! Can’t wait!
Onto the crafting, I have a couple of freebies for you today which match the circle flower doily I shared in my last post, this time I have the floral doily square and border for you. I whipped up a digi sentiment for my card then I thought that you might like a cut file version of that too so you have a choice of which you prefer to use.
In my last post I showed how I used the circle doily as a small portion of my card and framed my sentiment, this time I wanted to show how you can re-size a doily to fill a large portion of your card for a bigger impact. I couldn’t help but pop a flat backed pearl into each flower center in my frame and loved the effect.
Here are your Free Cut Files – Formats include ai, dxf, gsd, pdf, studio & svg:

Thanks for these great files! Congratulations on your new house! We moved from the busy city of Las Vegas to 40 acres in Arizona. The nearest town is 25 miles away. The nearest craft store is 150 miles away, boo hoo! Our nearest neighbor is 3 miles away. We love the peace and quiet out here.
That sounds like utter bliss! apart from the craft shops of course ;)
I am happy for you and your new home. I can’t WAIT to see videos from you. Your files are truly amazing and I hope you LOVE your new home and the prospect of a room dedicated to crafts I am sure is so exciting for you!! ENJOY
Hi Bird
Thank you for the brilliant freebies, once again they are fab!! I bet you can’t wait for your move and I know you’ll love it – we moved from London (maisonette) to a house in Essex and then three years later moved to the edge of a town in Lincolnshire where it is very rural and we love it – I have taken over the guest room for all my crafting and will be envious that you have a room especially for yours, however if it means more for us who love your blog ……….then more power to you
Love Jackie x

Thanks for another superb file Bird, and good luck on the move. We moved from a town to a small village 10 yrs ago and haven’t regretted it for one moment. We look out over the vast East Anglian skies and fields! You will still find craft fairs within reach of your new home I’m sure.
Hugs

Hi Bird, congratulations on the new house, that’s great news. I love the countryside but like yourself I live in the city. My friend lives in the countryside and loves coming to stay with me and going shopping, whereas I love to visit her and wake up to beautiful scenery and animals, (& peace & quiet) lol. I’m sorry I didn’t move to a rural area years ago. I wish you all the best and hope it all goes well for you.
BTW thank you so much for the beautiful files.

ooh – how exciting – a new home to make in what sounds like a brill location – anything rural or semi rural conjours up all kinds of ideals! Good luck with all that packing and moving – then unpacking (usually better because you’ve got new places to put your stuff!
