60th Accordion Card

Hello Again!

Well I didn’t think that the card for my Mum would be applicable to so many people, I had the most requests for a generic 60th card with the Mum removed so that’s what I’ve gone with, it leaves the last panel with an oval for you to add your own name to.

I cut the card from 2 pieces of A4 and joined them together with the little tab. To cover all of the panels with patterned paper you will need 4 pieces giving you 8 panels to cover both sides. I chose to strengthen my card by adding an extra panel of card to the back with a layer of patterned paper facing in which also gave me an area on the back to write my message.

I hope this is clear enough, I will of course be able to make videos in the future when I move to help explain how to assemble cards and such, maybe I need a forum for all of the questions and answers, lol.

I had a lot of questions about the font I used for the 60th, it is called Preciosa but you will find that I tweaked it quite a bit.

Card for Mum

Hi Guys!

Sorry about my brief absence, I’ve been away for a few days as it was my Mum’s Birthday and I went down for a visit but I’m back and ready to plough on with my Christmas projects.

I thought I’d share the card I made for my Mum with you, it is an accordion card with a layered sentiment, I placed one word on each panel. When the card is closed the words are all in order and appear to be on the same level but when it’s opened the card forms a sort of tunnel with each word a step back from the last.
