Card Cover 2

Good Afternoon!

I have another card cover for you today with a circle design, there are 2 layers included so you can opt to use the front panel on it’s own or add the backing layer for a different look. I used some patterned paper for my backing layer but I think it would look great with either some vellum or some acetate peeking through the circles…or maybe some glitter paper! Choices choices ;)

Card Cover 1

Hello!

I have a lattice frame for you today which I am calling a card cover, the reason for this is I am starting a new set of designs which will fit onto the front of a standard size card. If you set the height to 4 inches the length will come to 5.5 inches which is a compramise between the different standard card sizes used around the world. I’ve used my card cover as a frame on a larger card today (DL size), I will try to give you a few different examples of how they can be used as I add more designs :)

**edit** I have just realised that I actually made today’s cut file in the wrong size, I made it 3 inches tall when it is 5.5 inches long. I promise to make the future designs in the correct proportions…what a daft thing to do :(

Poppy & Branches 2

Good Afternoon!

I have a Poppy cut file for you today, there are 2 each of the petal and stamen pieces included which makes one poppy. I also have a new branch set, there are 2 swirly branches and you get both the solid and outine versions, you can use either version on their own or layer the two together for a different look.

I cut my poppy petals from some red vellum and gave them some shape with an embossing stylus. I cut the stamens from some black paper and the branches from some lightweight green card. I glued 2 of the poppy petals together, I then glued 2 of the stamen pieces in the middle and popped a black sparkle on top to form each flower.
