Door Handle Hangers
Hello!
I have another project that I’ve made with my little visitor to share today and this one comes with a cut file for you. I made some Door Handle Hangers, there are 2 designs to chose from so they should fit on any style of Door Handle that you may have. The one we made today is for my little helper to take home and hang on her bedroom door :)
First we chose one of the designs and cut it from some chipboard. I cut the shape twice more from some patterned paper remembering to mirror one as I was using single sided paper. I glued the paper to both sides of my chipboard and it was ready to decorate.
To decorate ours, we used the heart from the heart easel card and layered the little girls name over the top (I blanked it out in the photo). We finished the decoration with some glitter paper, ribbon and heart sparkles.
Here’s your Free Cut File – Formats include ai, dxf, gsd, mtc, pdf, studio & svg:

This is a great project to do with our sweet little ones. I have some crafty grandchildren who will love doing this! Thank you for the cut file and the inspiration!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful cutting files. I have saved some to my computer but am unable to pick them up for cutting with my silhuette. I am fairly new to this, is there something I’m missing please? Thanks Margaret
Each folder contains files you can use with your Silhouette.
Use either the .studio or if you have the designer edition then you can also use the SVG. Some of my early files don’t have the .studio version so you will need to use the GSD instead.
Thank you! There are just sooo many things to make for the kids with this.
What a sweet project! I’m sure she will love to have this to take home with her!
Very nice ! Thank you for sharing !
Thanks so much for this Bird, I am going to make it for my daughter who needs a little lift at the minute. xx
I love all of your projects… the finished samples are so beautiful. I have already donated because I’ve gotten so many patterns and ideas from you. I have a question about making things that have to be sturdy… like 3D boxes. Do you cut the design out of chipboard or heavy cardstock and then cut another piece, or pieces, out of decorative papers and then glue it on top?
Thanks so much!
I tend to cut them out of the thickest cardstock I have 300-340gsm then cut patterned paper panels to fit just inside which give more stability. Like this: https://birdscards.com/big-strong-bags/
Thank You for the fab files, you are so generous Bird.
