Halloween Treat Bags
Good Afternoon!
I’m posting another of my KnK Design Team projects here in case you didn’t see it at the time over at the Team KnK blog and also to include the cut files into my archive for future use.
Halloween is on the horizon so today I have made a couple of treat bags for the little ones in our lives to take trick or treating. The Cut Files are available at the end of this post :)
I used my Zing and Make the Cut to cut the pieces for my Pumpkin Treat Bag from some Worldwin Colormates Smooth and Silky cardstock. My settings were: height 25 post-it notes, standard blade, 0.30 offset, speed 10, force 75, one pass:
I folded along all of the perforated lines and added some red-liner style tape to the tabs:
The tab should follow the edge at the bottom of the pumpkin area to ensure a 90 degree angle:
The Pumpkin and Stalk can now be glued onto the front and back of the bag and ribbon can be added to the holes in the sides:
Here is the skull and crossbones version made with the same method:
Bring on the Sweets! :)
Here are your Free Cut Files – Formats: ai, dxf, gsd, mtc, pdf, studio & svg:

Thanks Bird, these are really cute. I mean scary!
Oh thank you, Bird! Just what I needed for the kiddies. Thanks for sharing!
Love These, Thanks A Bunch!!
What fun these are as long as it doesn’t rain while running around on Halloween night. They would be cute by the door when handing out treats too :-)
lol. yes I didn’t think of that! Let’s hope it’s dry :)
Love your work. I am constantly amazed at your creations. Well done. Thank you.
Thank you! These are adorable! I so appreciate you sharing them.
Thank you. Wonderful files.
What a neat idea….absolutely love them. Thanks so much. Laura
ty!
these are wicked Bird… just love them – thank you very much – they are actually the first ones i’ve seen that I actually think I will probably make – even just to give to my niece and nephew… Although my boys have grown up and out of Halloween and Trick or Treat, I still like to give to the kids that come round. I remember last year being a complete wash out so no-one came round, and we were all ready for them too….
Thanks for making these – they’re great.

Bird, just wanted to thank you for sharing this file… well, actually ALL you files ;) I made the skull treat box for my son and it was a big hit. Of course, it helped that I filled it with candy, but he was thrilled with the container too! Here is a link if you care to see how it turned out: http://misplacedmojo.com/2013/10/31/happy-halloween/ Thanks!!!
Love your treat box, you’ve done a great job! The glimmer mist is really effective and I think it would look cool with the rhinestones in the eyes too, good idea! :)
