Helloooooooooo!!
Well Hello There, long time no see!
Lots have things have kept me uber busy lately such as family visits, the obligatory shopping trips, making Christmas pressies and lots of other general festivities. As a result I have sadly neglected my poor old blog, I’ll just have to give it lots of tender loving care for a while to make up for it ;) I hope you have had a lovely Christmas and will have a fabulous New Year, my Christmas day was spent in bed as I fell victim to the glorious Norovirus on Christmas Morning but as I’m feeling much better now I shall surely make up for it on New Years Eve mwahahaha!
Unfortunately I completely forgot to photograph many of the things I made over Christmas but I managed to snap one of this years cards I sent out, I made this suspension card in few colour ways using a snowflake from set 5, some glitter effect papers from Dovecraft. I used some co-ordinating organza ribbons and my favourite embellishment for this year – Jingle Bells! I just love them and have added them to everything this year like they are going out of fashion.
These were the tags I attached to my gifts, As a typical crafter I like to use my scraps so I used up the circle cut outs and any spare snowflakes from the cards and added some scalloped circles and a little ribbon.
Some of the projects I didn’t manage to get posted will have to wait for next year now but this little box will be useful at any time of year. There is a cut file for those of you with digital cutting machines and a template version for those of you who don’t as it’s a simple enough shape to cut with scissors.
I made 24 of these little beauties, filled them with wrapped choccies and made a dispenser for them to be used as my Advent Calendar. I made a tall box and lid with a gap cut out at the bottom to pull them out in turn, as you take one from the bottom all of the ones above it fall down to fill the gap and you open the top to put the empty back in, simple and yummy :)
