House Cards
Good Evening!
I have made a little house scene for you today and have a cut file version with a card base included and I have a digital stamp version for you too. Also I have made example cards of both the cut file and the digi stamp, I just couldn’t resist colouring the little scene and making a second card. I think these would make great new home cards, house warming invitations, we’ve moved cards or even from our house to yours Christmas Cards (maybe with some added glitter), all you need to do is add your chosen sentiment.
I cut my card base in white card then folded along the score line and really liked the way it looked just as it was, really clean and simple. I was in two minds whether to stop there or not but I decided to go on and add the card front layer and a sentiment but thought I’d take a quick pic to show you first.
I attached a black piece of card to the back panel of the inside of the card to emphasis the cut out sections.
I printed my digital stamp in a grey-brown colour (using this method) which is one of my favourite things to do with digis as I find black can stand out too much at times. I coloured my image with Copic markers then mounted onto panels of SEI papers then printed a sentiment in purple, trimmed and added banner edges with scissors.

Great house cards. Thank you so much. Lynne from OZ
Well I just finished 6 house cards as my Mom(il) had to move again. I wish I had a machine to do the cutting as it is so much cleaner looking and less painful on the fingers. But this will do for now. I got a new printer as a gift and am having fun trying to figure it all out. It isn’t like any of the ones I have had before. If you would care to look at the card I took a picture of, it is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/abfnana/7934995638/in/photostream
Thanks so much, and great timing. ;-))
Don’t look to hard you will see all my mistakes. LOL
Oh my gosh, you cut it out by hand! You must have a lot of patience, lol. They look great though, nicely done! :)
Thank you!
I always love your beautiful files. Thank you for sharing your talent and hard work designing. Without people like you I would not be able to be nearly as creative.
Thanks you very much for both the cut file and the digi, they’re both lovely!

Thank you so much for this, I can’t wait to cut it out. you are so kind with your files and tutorials, I just got a portrait and have learned so much on your site.
Thank you for this file it is the most intricate I have cut with my new scanncut machine, It looks great hope my brother and sister-in-law think so too when they move house next week
This is absolutely perfect for our moving announcements. Unfortunately, I can not seem to sort out the cut settings on my silhouette cameo to make it cut cleanly. What sort of machine do you use?
