Merry Christmas Cards

Good Afternoon!

Today I’d like to encourage you look at the SVGs in your stash to see if you can use them in different ways. I wanted to share how even one element from a collection could come in very handy in a pinch.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make all of my Christmas cards from scratch this year so I added some simple embellishments to shop bought cards I already had to make them a bit more festive.

Here are the 5″ x 7″ cards I purchased from M&S, they are a satin mirror with embossed writing:

For each card I used one frame and a few red gems:

The holly frame is from the collection White Christmas SVG, you will find it on the ‘Robin Card Layer 2’ page. I could have cut my frames at the original size but I chose to resize them to 6.5″ wide so my cards have a border around the outside edge.

Here’s how my finished cards look:

Hopefully next year I can return to fully handmade creations for the people in my life and in the meantime, I hope this years recipients will be happy with their cards :)

Multi Tree Christmas set

Bonsoir!

Do you have any last minute cards to make or gifts to wrap?

If so, I have a 3 piece set of freebies for you today. The set includes a card, a matching envelope and a matching gift tag too!

I chose to use some non-traditional colours which I thought would work well with the geometric tree design, I hope you like it :)

If you make anything from this set we’d love to see it our facebook group :)

Star Presents

Good Morning!

I’m about to head on out to do some Christmas gift deliveries to some friends and family but before I do, I have another wonderful post to share from Helle!

Do you remember that in Helle’s last post, she had made a collection of different gift bags for her friends? Well now Helle has made some adorable co-ordinating gift boxes to go inside and each one is different to match the gift bag, here’s a look at one of them:
