Ribbon Cards
Hiyah!
I needed some cards for storing some bakers twine on and well, it wouldn’t be right to not share it with you :) I’ve made a 2 section version as well if you’d rather have 2 different ribbons/threads on the same card, there’s a hole in the top of them as I’m thinking about hanging mine up on some scrapbook rings.
I cut 2 copies out of kraft card and stuck them together with double sided tape to make it sturdier so it wouldn’t bend when I wound the thread on.

I love storing my ribbons and trims on cards like this and I have even boughten those made by Cropper Hopper and store them on rings over the closet rod in my craft closet. TFS.

A big thank you for all that you share. I love your card designs and this ribbon winding card is much more refined than the ones I made out of poster board. I will start using yours for new ribbon purchases.

You’re awesome!
This is a great idea. Thank you for sharing.
What a wonderful idea! I use these bobbins for embroidery floss and so appreciate the opportunity to cut my own! Interestingly, I just saw a post at amazingpapergrace.com where the blogger cut bobbins to store flat lace. Another super idea!
You are so clever. Thank you for sharing.
I ‘acquired’ some of these – not sure where from and they are SO useful. It’s like you knew I needed some more, because I was thinking that I could do with making some or looking for a file… I put bakers twine on mine too, otherwise it would have become all knotted up!
Thank you so much for sharing

Great file Bird, thank you.
This is pretty cool! You can also cut it out of chipboard for sturdiness. Maybe even cut out pretty paper and modpodge it to make it pretty.
Thanks for the file.
So handy :) thank you!
