Rolled Flower 2
Hiyah!
I have another rolled flower cut file for you today, I promised some more of them :). I went with a daisy style this time and kept the outer petals larger than the ones in the middle but it’s more of a subtle graduation this time, it looked more natural when it was finished. I know it’s a while til Mothers Day but I have a Mothering Sunday sentiment for you too today.
I was feeling brave when I made this card, can you tell by the colour scheme? I just love this paper (GCD – Chic Bebe) but its no shrinking violet so I just had to go with it, I pulled all manner of apple green items from my stash then played around til I was happy.
I stitched my paper onto white card, straight edges look naked to me now without stitching on them;) I printed my sentiment onto textured card and cut with Labels Eighteen and layered on top of Labels Five with a few pearls. My Lace came gathered so I gathered my ribbon to match and nestled my leaves from Branches 1 and rolled flowers between the ribbon and the labels.
Here is a close up of my flowers, I curled the outer petals outwards then popped a pearl in the middle of each flower and curled the petals around the pearl inwards slightly.
Here is your cut file – formats included are ai, dxf, gsd, pdf, studio & svg:

Hello, Bird.
I am a little like the writer just ahead of me. I just spent a good deal of time going through your blog, looking at your many beautiful creations, copying some of your files, and feeling a bit guilty not paying you for your work! Wow! You are beyond generous! I will certainly be thinking about you with every rolled flower I make, like the one you have shared with us above. Please accept my sincerest thanks!
Good morning Bird. Wow, you’ve outdone yourself with this exquisite daisies. I just love the sentiment too. I’ve never thought of Mother’s day in this terminology, but it is just perfect. You should be proud of your work with that brilliant green; I would be petrified to try to match it without a patterned piece, but you did an excellent job. As the people before me have said, thank you so very much for your generosity and for sharing your talent. Your truly a great person! Sue
I didn’t think that other places may not use the ‘Mothering Sunday’ term, must be a UK thing :)
I should learn to proof before posting. It was suppose to read “these exquisite daisies” not “this”. Sorry, I just get so excited with your posting… Sue

Adorable!! Thanks so much for sharing the file. :)
I made it! not quite as elaborate but it turned out so nice. It’s for my Aunt’s 92nd birthday and by the time you get to 92, you deserve beautiful and unique; this card is both, thank you so much for the idea and files. I am going to post a pic on my website.
