The road to a friends house…
Hiyah!
I have 6 freebies for you today, I have another house scene for you and this time I tried to imagine it in a more rural setting, you have a cut file card version and a digital stamp version too. I have given you a cut file of the 3 little houses I’ve used in the recent designs so that you can use those individually and finally I have 3 digital sentiments for you that can be used with the file & image from the last post too. These will be the last house themed projects for a while, I’ll move on to something else although I don’t know what it will be right now. Don’t be afraid to make suggestions you never know I might get inspired by something you mention ;)
For my first card I wanted to show you how the cut file looks if just the front panel is used, I cut it in some textured green card stock and popped it onto a blank cream card with 3D foam pads. Don’t think that you have to use the files as they come, use all of it, part of it or even adapt them for your own uses by moving or removing sections etc, just have fun with them :)
For my second card I coloured my image with Copics again, gosh I need more practice with them but practice makes perfect, right? I followed this weeks iSpy Sketch for my card layout, I embossed my patterned papers with texture plates then attacked with distress inks then to add to the rustic look I added twine rather than ribbon.
You know, I find it pretty amazing how you can get such dramatically different looks from the same design depending on which version you chose.

The house file is really nice and very versatile. TY for sharing. Sending a friend here to get the file so she can use the walk part on another card. I appreciate your hard word.
Thank you once again for fabulous files, just love houses. Your generosity is much appreciated. Michelle x
Thank you so much for sharing.
More wonderful files. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing the house svg.

Thanks so much for the sentiment files. Silly question perhaps, but is there a way to use the cutting files without a cutting machine? Would you cut them with x-acto? Your card samples are fabulous but not sure how to use the files. Thanks so much!
I design the files with electronic cutters in mind but there’s no reason why you couldn’t cut them out with a craft knife or scissors. I have been adding the digi stamp version for those without cutting machines to print and colour although I know it won’t give the same effect. Good luck :)
Thank you for explaining!
Thank you again for your amazing files. Love them
Sandy
I am really enjoying these files. There really are a lot of things you can do with them. Thanks so much.
Hi
I can hardly wait to see what you have done when I see your name in my email to alert me you have done something fabulous—again.
Your files are just great and they always cut so nicely. Thank you so much.

i don’t always remember to stop and thank you for all the great cutting files you share, you are so talented
thanks so much, Linda
Just beautiful! Thanks so much! I thought I’d mention that there’s a small typo in one sentiment – “friends house” should be “friend’s”, with an apostrophe. Easy enough to add with a marker, I guess.
Simply delightful! Friends have just moved to a new home and now I’m torn between which of your 2 lovely house designs I’ll use to make them a card. What a nice problem to have. ;-)
I’ve been having great fun playing with your files, as you describe. The marvellous thing about digital designs is how we can do just that! I’m planning a card with one of your lovely lattices cut as a circle or oval screen into its front. Got to get my software skills in order first!
Another amazing file to share. Not only are you extremely talented, you are so kind and considerate also. Know that you and your files are appreciated!!
Thanks for sharing these amazing houses! Love the combination of the cutting files and the digi stamps. Your blog has become “must-see” in my RSS reader because of your creativity and your generosity.
Thanks for sharing the great cut files.
