Truffle Box Place Cards

Good Evening all!

It’s freebie time again and I have to credit Patti, Lee and Rhonda from the Bird’s SVGs facebook group who were discussing the ‘box in a card’ idea and how well it would work as a place card. So, today I have made an SVG version so you can whip some up quickly with no measuring or scoring etc to worry about :)

Now I know it’s really close but I was thinking that as Thanksgiving is this week in the US, you may be able to make some of these in time for your Thanksgiving dinner:

As you can see, there is more than enough room for a truffle inside, here’s a Christmas version:

Simply change the papers to suit your event and add some fun embellishments, I hope you enjoy making yours :)

I have a question.. I’ve uploaded the images into my Cricut, and they all make sense but one mat… It shows a bunch of score lines, but not really clear on what piece the score lines fit….

You may need to ‘attach’ your score lines if they don’t seem to be in the correct place on your screen. Simply make sure all of the elements are selected then click on ‘attach’ :)

Thanks for sharing. I don’t seem to be able to open this in my Silhouette. I can open all the JPGs which show lovely pics of the box and the T&Cs, and there are 4 SVGs that I can’t seem to open. What am I doing wrong?

You may need to upgrade to the designer edition of the silhouette studio software in order to cut SVGs if you haven’t already :)

First . I am so thankful for your site and all you do! I am thrilled that I am able to use your SVG files in spite of the fact that I have an old (and I mean old -about 9 yrs old I think) ) Silhouette machine (says Quickutz Silhouette Craft Cutter On it)…Soit means that I do not have the ability to use SVG files ..BUT I am able to convert SVG files to Silhouette Studio files via InkScape.. !
Your Truffle box looks wonderful ..So I have downloaded the templates .. but the Box base only shows up the folding lines when I convert it (the rest of 2 templates are perfect though)
If anyone knows if its possible to get whole base box I’d appreciate it. It is the first time the conversion from SVG to Silhouette Studio failed me .
Again .. thank you for your wonderful place ! You make my day with your creativity !
